It’s finally here! Today is the day we go to Story Land! This is our 4th annual trip to Story Land and the kids couldn’t be more excited.
We stayed at the little cabin in Alton Bay, NH last night, woke up early this morning and tried to get everyone washed up, dressed, fed and out the door by 9am. Well, that didn’t happen, but I had good intentions. We didn’t get out the door until 10am and now we are in the car heading up north to Glen, NH.
We are listening to music in the car, trying to keep the baby happy and the 4 year old entertained. Even though I checked the weather continually this past week to pack for our trip, it still ended up being 10 degrees colder today than it was supposed to be. Plus it’s super cloudy and overcast. I am really wishing I had packed a hoodie or some long pants…
Hopefully by the time we actually get to Story Land it will have warmed up a bit because I’m wearing shorts and a tank top! At least I brought long pants for the kids. Once again, neglecting myself and forgetting things I need. Such is the life of a mom.
No matter, I have a fully charged phone, our Nikon DSL camera, and we’re ready for a full day of fun at Story Land with our FOUR kids! Could my 4 year old look any more excited?!
