Story Land is the best children’s theme park in the state of New Hampshire, featuring tons of rides and entertainment for the whole family. New generations of kids, their parents, and their grandparents visit Story Land year after year to share past memories and create brand new ones! Everyone can have fun in the Land Where Fantasy Lives!
This kid-friendly amusement park in the north woods of NH features over 30 attractions that are perfect for the whole family. From the Polar Coaster and Roar-O-Saurus to Cinderella’s Castle and Dr. Geyser’s Remarkable Raft Ride! Each ride is designed for children and their parents to enjoy!

A Few of Our Favorite Rides
One of our first stops at the park is always the Little Dreamer’s Play Area where we stop and say “Hello” to the “woman in the shoe”.
There is normally water under the bridge here, but it’s been so dry up north which contributed to the gypsy moth caterpillar explosion. The kids didn’t mind all the “butterflies” flying around everywhere but my husband and I knew what these bad boys were about. During the drive up north, we concluded there must be a gypsy moth infestation when the trees barely had any leaves on them and it looked like very early spring upon entering Conway. Wow! After googling it, we discovered we were right. Hopefully, it won’t affect the fall foliage in the mountains this year!
Alice’s Tea Cups
This is one of my kid’s favorite rides at Story Land. Most likely because it’s the first ride they actually go on when we get in the park because we always go right when we get into the park! Check out the park map here.
Carousel Merry-Go-Round
We masked up for the ride because the lines were long and the ride was packed so we took a little extra precautions when riding this one!
As an added bonus I got stung by some random bee while on the Carousel, but luckily it wasn’t that bad and I forgot all about it within an hour! Phew!

Dig-M-Deeper
This is a newer addition to Story Land and has been a family favorite since they added it! Kids get to ride and control real little Volvo Excavators and even more and dig up real dirt!
The only downside to this “ride” it’s on the honor system and there is basically nothing preventing a kid from taking 8 turns in a row without getting off. We had to stand in line for 15 minutes waiting for one family to finally peel their kids off this ride, but you can hardly blame them for not wanting to get off. It’s one of the best rides for kids 4-7 in the whole park!
Flying Fish Ride
I just love this random kid that waved to me when I was taking pictures and couldn’t even get my own kids to wave and look at the camera. Thanks, kid!

Must-Haves For The Park
One of the best decisions I made for our trip this year was buying a Wonderfold W4 4-Seater Wagon.
It was a total game-changer and made lugging our large family and all our stuff through the park an absolute breeze. Not to mention how many people stopped us to tell us how amazing our wagon was and wanted to know where they could buy it! (Hint: here) It’s pretty stylish too.
With a sunroof, heavy-duty all-terrain wheels, seating for 4 children (up to 100lbs on each side), pockets for water bottles, shoes, sunscreen and more. We were even able to fit a cooler filled with our lunch under one of the wagon seats!
I purchased a stroller caddy to strap to the handles to make Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer easily accessible. I also attached mesh cargo net pockets on each side for extra storage.
And even though someone didn’t think the Wonderfold wagon would be “worth the huge price tag”, look who wanted to push it all day long… Especially after he saw how many compliments we were getting. Hmm…
For real though, I can’t believe how many positive comments we were getting from everyone we passed and how much gushing everyone was doing over our “super awesome wagon thing”. Daddy looks pretty proud to me!
Here are a few of the must-have accessories we got for our Wonderfold wagon that really amped this thing up and made it the awesome baby-toting chariot that it is.
