How To Start Your Organic Cotton Capsule Wardrobe
First off, a capsule wardrobe is by definition “a mini wardrobe made up of versatile pieces that you love to wear.” Each season (spring, summer, fall, and winter), you go through your wardrobe and clear out everything except a set number of pieces that are yourย “capsule wardrobe.”ย These pieces should be your foundation for each season and are generally made up of anywhere from 20 – 40 pieces. Your capsule wardrobe should be primarily items that can be mixed and matched together for each season and the foundation of all your outfits. Things like shoes, accessories like hats, scarves, jewelry, and handbags, and season-specific things like swimsuit coverups, are the “extras” that you use to personalize your base capsule wardrobe.
