Today’s Outfit: My Fashionable Scala Hat

Finding the perfect hat is almost as exciting as finding the perfect mate. When you find that person that completes you, is your other half and helps you to be the best person you can be, the reward is priceless.

Where I Wore My Fashionable Hat

The weekend before last our town celebrated their 250th Anniversary! It’s actually kind of exciting living in a small town with historic importance such as being the hometown of Uncle Sam.

Our friends went with us and to enjoy all the fun family activities, games, and food stands. There were lots of local farmers, small business owners, and artisans that were peddling their goods in tents on the lawn surrounding our Town Hall.

I wore my Scala Collezione Hat with skinny jeans, a Gap peplum tank, and my baby in a Tula Baby Carrier.  I was really glad I wore my hat because not only did it protect my face from the sun, but provided shade for the baby as well. Win-win!

This is such a fashionable hat! I love the wooden o-ring trim around the hat and the casual look of the hand-crocheted seagrass. It’s crushable, packable, and perfect for spring through fall. This is my new favorite hat and I plan to wear it until it snows.
